What is Olatua
It is the continuation of a project that began in 2011 aboard the Olatua, an 11-metre sailing yacht that in 2018 gave way to a larger one, a 14-metre Bavaria 46.
The Catalan coast and the Balearic Islands have been the places where we have sailed. Bringing the sea closer to the people. Breaking stereotypes and living with very enriching and interesting crews on board.
We sail, we feel the sea and we learn. And we continue to learn... Intense and precious years that we have shared. Wonderful moments that remain in our hearts. A lot of people ‘unknown’ when they came on board who are now friends; the Olatua crew.
It is a privilege to have shared these moments with you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Txikotia, Mir, Saltillo, Nao Victoria, BonTemps, Pakea Bizkaia, Forquilla and Olatua among others… sailboats that have sailed through my veins.
Changes of professions, places and illusions are part of my life. The Olatua sailing boat has changed owners but we want to continue sailing, we want to feel the sea and its magic. What I have shared with the Olatua community cannot end, we keep on sailing. I want to continue enjoying the sea.
A new voyage has just begun, the fusion between the sea and the mountains. Two projects in one Olatua (the wave) and Olatuenea (the house of the wave) await us. We set sail!
