For a few years of my life I have been ‘a man with a nose and a camera attached’..
First as an amateur and then 15 intense years in Amaiur photography, between cameras, films, wedding reports, photos and clients that I did not remember by name, but by their camera model. Beautiful memories amidst great technological changes, from analogue to digital. Who would have thought in those not too distant times that our photographs would no longer be stored in albums but in ‘the cloud’? Or that there would be flying cameras?
In this place I want to show you some of the important moments in my life behind the camera...

Documentaries
The camera and the sea come together. Two passions, two hobbies that become a profession. I have the privilege of navigating to magical places and a new stage begins where the still image becomes movement.
PAKEA BIZKAIA Project
Bilbao-Antartica-Bilbao. We sail from Bahia Blanca in Argentina to Antarctica. at 65ºS passing Península Valdés, Strait of Magellan and Tierra de Fuego. My role on board is to document the journey.
Haizeari mila galdera
At the request of the Elkano Foundation and as part of the 500th anniversary of the circumnavigation, we sailed on board the Pottoka from Getaria, the birthplace of Juan Sebastián Elkano, to Seville. 17 crew members and 2 captains on a 1,200 mile sailing trip. A new experience for most of them, almost all women and men with no knowledge of sailing. But a 12-metre boat changes the rules and sails the Atlantic. Guards, dizziness and fatigue, and yes, the sea is immense, but the Pottoka is not...
On board, everything is shared, the food, the sleep, the fears and the joys. So are opinions and ideas. It was there that this experience of thought and conversation took place, with each wave bringing a topic that was then carried away by the wind. Care for the sea, the environment, technology, interculturality... as many as there are windows open to the world.

Sailing, diving, free diving, taking care of the sea, talking to people of all kinds... that is our aim.. And of course... to share it with you.
